At the recent meeting of History Live at Warslow Village Hall we held our Christmas raffle and auction in aid of The Air Ambulance service.  We are hugely grateful to the local businesses and individuals who donated such wonderful prizes and particularly to Altrad Belle of Sheen who kindly gave us a bright orange top-of-the-range wheelbarrow to auction.  This was won by a delighted John Graham of Sheen who paid £110 and said ‘It pushes like a dream!’.  Unfortunately John couldn’t be at the meeting but his sister Elspeth Walker also of Sheen was presented with the barrow on his behalf.

Peter Corbett, Air Ambulance Fundraiser from Buxton  was presented with our donation of £303.11p on Wednesday 11th January by Deborah, vice chair of History Live, and said it was a fabulous amount from a small group.
